Into the Sugar Bush

This past Sunday I was invited to join Jesse and Melanie of Crackers blog on a field trip into the woods. They were meeting some friends who had a small maple syrup operation. It was a great day for it, sunny and warm and the Austins boiled down about 100 gallons of, well, the trees nutrient rich water.
