A little about us.

We are the foodies, based out of Burlington, Ontario but this fall, I (Sarah) moved to Kingston for school.   Geoff and I have known each other for a while now and he’s trying to work me into cooking.  See now, I’m a baker and very rarely cook for myself so it’s new and I’m loving it!  Geoff is also a baker, though he will never admit it.

We met working at Starbucks and after knowing each other for a year or so, I finally convinced him to take a ride in my car-using that as an excuse to get some one on one time with this mysterious employee.  We hit it off and after a few awkward hand holding moments, we’re now together and have been for a year or so.

This summer we decided to go on a little (understatement) roadtrip.  We drove out to the west coast of Canada- camping along the way and stocking up with delicious food at roadside stands and tiny burger joints.  We then ventured back home via the good old USA, hitting some gorgeous sites and cheap deals of course.  We did what made us happy-hiked up a few mountains, cooked over open fires and checked out some fantastic restaurants all over the continent! That’s where we came up for the idea of this blog and we will be telling you all about the trip through various posts.

I will be updating with stuff from school and Geoff will be updating with stuff from home.  I come home often so we always try to make a mess of the kitchen to generate some delicious creations when we have the chance, and will post when there is something magical that just can’t not be shared!

I think beat cake would be cool… just because I’m still on the fence about beats (:
